As you can see above, when it comes to domestic competitions this season, Newcastle United are now the second most successful, when it comes to winning football matches.
Tuesday night’s deserved victory at the Emirates meaning now only Liverpool have won more domestic games than United!
Eddie Howe’s side have of course inflicted two of the three defeats Arsenal have suffered this season!
Great credit to Forest as well, who are now third in the list when it comes to winning football matches this 2024/25 season. Once again, worth mentioning that it is Newcastle who have been responsible for two of their minimal number of defeats as well.
United made it seven victories in a row on Tuesday night,
Newcastle United have now won four matches more than both Man City and Chelsea.
Yet until very recently, some Newcastle United fans had been wanting Eddie Howe sacked…
The media (and some Newcastle fans) still making out that it had been some kind of recent NUFC crisis, yet the last fourteen United matches (all competitions) over the course of ten weeks, have seen ten wins, two draws and only the two defeats.
