Alexander Nübel’s transfer appears to be one decisive step closer to becoming a reality. According to a report from Turkey, FC Bayern and Besiktas have now reportedly reached a basic agreement on the goalkeeper’s transfer.
Alexander Nübel is apparently on the verge of his final departure from FC Bayern. After Besiktas Istanbul reportedly reached an agreement with the goalkeeper himself regarding a transfer, there has now been a significant development in the negotiations between the two clubs.
Turkish transfer expert Yağız Sabuncuoğlu reports that FC Bayern and Besiktas have reached a basic agreement on the 29-year-old’s transfer.
According to the report, the Munich club will initially receive a fixed transfer fee of five million euros. Added to this are another five million euros in potential bonus payments, meaning the total package could rise to as much as ten million euros.
Just a few days ago, this very offer was considered too low. FC Bayern had internally valued Nübel at 15 to 20 million euros and initially rejected the offer from Istanbul.
Should the report from Turkey be confirmed, the Munich club would now appear to have significantly lowered its asking price. For the record champions, the sale would nevertheless be an important step, as Nübel no longer has a future at Säbener Straße and has already been informed that he should not show up for the start of training.

Although Nübel officially returned to FC Bayern after his loan to VfB Stuttgart, he no longer played a role in Vincent Kompany’s plans on the field. As a result, club officials had been searching for a permanent solution for weeks.
With the agreement between Bayern and Besiktas now reported, it appears that a solution has been found.
