Nike has unveiled a new six minute advert ahead of the World Cup, titled 'Rip The Script'. According to L'Équipe, the film landed on Thursday evening with a cast drawn from sport, music and film.

With the tournament running from 11 June to 19 July, excitement is building as warm-up games gather pace. Thursday's France v Côte d'Ivoire friendly finished 1-2.

Brand athletes Kylian Mbappé, Cristiano Ronaldo and Vinicius Jr lead the line. They are joined by Central C and Travis Scott, actors Channing Tatum, who appears alongside Erling Haaland, and Jason Sudeikis, alias Ted Lasso, plus LeBron James.

The premise sees players summoned to shoot the advert, only to be stifled by a director who curbs their creativity. Mbappé and company break free, sparking a breakneck chase with a ball through multiple sets. Along the way they meet team-mates and rivals such as Cole Palmer, who abandon their scenes to join the chaos.

Current stars also collide with past greats, including Didier Drogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The result is a typically spectacular Nike set piece on the eve of the World Cup.
