Nine years ago today, Tom Rogic produced one of the great Celtic moments at Hampden Park.

On May 27, 2017, the Australian midfielder struck in stoppage time against Aberdeen to seal a dramatic 2-1 victory in the Scottish Cup final and complete Celtic’s historic Invincible Treble.

The Celts had already lifted the Premiership title without losing a single league game, as well as adding the League Cup earlier in the campaign. Victory at Hampden secured the clean sweep and confirmed their place as one of the great Celtic teams.

Aberdeen had taken an early lead through Jonny Hayes, but Stuart Armstrong quickly brought the Hoops level. With the game heading towards extra-time, Rogic drove into the box in the closing stages before firing home the winner, sparking unforgettable celebrations among the Celtic support.

It was the perfect final act of an extraordinary season, as Celtic completed the domestic campaign unbeaten and lifted all three major honours.
