Noah Saviolo joins Trabzonspor after Benfica shirt photo stir | OneFootball

Trabzonspor and Vitória de Guimarães confirmed the transfer, taking the 22-year-old winger to Türkiye to link up with Sidny Cabral. It is his first senior experience abroad.

He was photographed in a Benfica shirt, which prompted rumours. It was only a coincidence and Benfica never showed significant interest.

The photo was not intended for public view, he meant to send it to Dodi Lukébakio after the shirt swap following Vitória’s match with Benfica at Estádio da Luz. It was mistakenly posted on his Instagram and quickly deleted.

Born in Belgium, Saviolo joined Vitória from Lille in 2022 for the under-19s. He stepped up to the B team the following season and became one of the senior side’s key players last term.

In 2025/26 he made 36 appearances across the Portuguese league, Taça de Portugal and Taça da Liga, totalling 2,314 minutes. He recorded two goals and five assists.

The Portugal under-21 international is valued at about 10 million euros.
