Norway are through to the round of 32 at the World Cup, and their fans are making themselves heard well beyond football stadiums.

According to L'Équipe, after showcasing their now-iconic Viking row in Times Square, Norway supporters took the routine to Citi Field in New York.

They were in the stands on Wednesday night for the New York Mets' game against the Chicago Cubs, which finished 5-10.

The travelling crowd, backing Erling Haaland's side, performed the rowing celebration again, imitating longship crews.

The United States has felt a little like home to them during the tournament, and the spectacle added to the build-up for the group I finale between Norway and France on Friday, kick-off 21:00.
