Nottingham Forest and Man City face off for a place in the FA Cup final this weekend.

This will be the seventh consecutive year Pep Guardiola’s team has featured at this stage of the competition, and they are looking to reach the decider for a third year in a row.

In contrast the Tricky Trees are competing in the last four for the first time since 1991. They reached the final on that occasion, losing to Spurs at the old Wembley Stadium.

Here is the latest team news and our predicted lineups for both sides ahead of Sunday’s semi-final.

Nottingham Forest team news

Jota Silva could miss out as the Portuguese international deals with a knock that sidelined him for the win over Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night.

Ola Aina might return from a calf issue that has kept him out of action for most of April. The full-back has missed Forest’s last three matches against Aston Villa, Everton and Spurs.

Neco Williams and Ryan Yates are both suspended, while Eric Moreira continues his recovery from injury.

Man City team news

Erling Haaland is back in individual training after recovering from an ankle injury he sustained against Bournemouth in the quarter-finals, but this weekend’s match has likely come too soon for the Norwegian striker.

Guardiola would not rule out the possibility of Rodri playing a part against Forest in his pre-match press conference. The midfielder has been out since suffering a cruciate ligament injury last September.

Ederson needs to be assessed before a final decision on his involvement can be made. The goalkeeper remains a doubt after being forced off in the second half of the win over Crystal Palace, but the manager is hopeful he will be available next week.

Man City defensive John Stones and Nathan Ake are both sidelined by injury.
