Valencia hope to open Nou Mestalla in the 27-28 season, with the coming campaign expected to be their last at Mestalla. The ground is now more than 103 years old.
According to AS, construction is progressing well and, if there are no setbacks, the new stadium could open in summer 2027. The club is due to launch its final Mestalla season-ticket campaign tomorrow.
Valencia currently have 40,000 season-ticket holders and aim to carry 50,000 into the new arena.
The club continues to refine the hospitality offering at Nou Mestalla. In recent months it opened a venue near the current stadium where members can sample the matchday experience, and the new ground is planned to hold 70,000 spectators.
September is due to be pivotal, when members will begin receiving calls to choose seats at Nou Mestalla. Priority will go to the longest-serving season-ticket holders, and families or friends can be re-grouped.
For now, the club will focus on the upcoming campaign, and is deferring the start of the migration to the autumn.
