Official: Barcelona sign Jesse Bisiwu | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday announced the club’s latest summer signing. The player to have put pen to paper on terms with the Blaugrana? Jesse Bisiwu.

Bisiwu, for those not familiar with his name, is an 18-year-old attacker, who chiefly operates out wide. The Belgian has long been considered one of the standout young talents in his home country, hailed for his technical ability and courage on the ball.

Bisiwu’s efforts on the books of Club Brugge’s reserve team had long turned the heads of clubs across Europe, chief among them the aforementioned Barcelona.

Deco and co, in turn, recently kicked into gear efforts to beat out the stiff competition to the signature of the gifted winger.

And as alluded to above, on Friday, Barca’s endeavours have officially borne fruit.

As per a statement across the Blaugrana’s website and social media platforms, Bisiwu has joined the club on a long-term contract, through the summer of 2031.

The teen, who is expected to start out with Barca Atlètic, is understood to have set the Camp Nou brass back a sum in the region of €8.5 million.
