In a little over an hour, FC Barcelona will square off against Newcastle United in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 at St James’ Park.

With kick-off not far away, Barça head coach Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will take the field, with plenty of changes to the team that faced Athletic Club over the weekend.

Key midfielder Pedri is back in the team, replacing Marc Casado as the midfield partner of Marc Bernal, who has recovered from a stomach bug.

Meanwhile, Ronald Araujo walks into the team at the expense of Eric Garcia, who misses out through muscular discomfort.

The Uruguayan international is expected to partner with Pau Cubarsi at centre-back, while Joao Cancelo and Gerard Martin operate as the full-backs. Joan Garcia continues in goal.

At the other end of the pitch, Robert Lewandowski gets the nod as the No. 9 for Barcelona, replacing Ferran Torres.

Raphinha, who was also benched at the weekend, comes in for Marcus Rashford, while Lamine Yamal continues on the right. Fermin Lopez slots in as the No. 10 ahead of Dani Olmo.
