Official: Corinthians sign right-back Pedro Milans

It's official! On the afternoon of Friday, January 16, Corinthians announced the signing of another reinforcement in the current transfer window. This is the right-back Pedro Milans, 23 years old. The Uruguayan player signed a contract with Timão valid until the end of the 2029 season.

Pedro Milans was at Peñarol, in Uruguay, but his contract with the club came to an end and he became a free agent. The young Uruguayan arrives to compete for a spot with Matheuzinho, who spent almost the entire 2025 season without a proper backup.

Thus, the player fills one of the squad's gaps identified by the coaching staff at the start of the season. Dorival Júnior also pointed out the need to sign a defensive midfielder, a more advanced midfielder, and wingers.

Who is Pedro Milans?

Pedro Milans began his professional football career at Juventud, in Uruguay, the club where he was developed and played between the 2019 and 2022 seasons. With the team, the right-back played 60 matches, contributing three goals and six assists—numbers that marked his development and consolidation on the national scene.

In 2022, Milans was signed by Peñarol, where he stayed until 2025 and took a leap in his career. For the traditional Uruguayan club, the player totaled 112 official matches, maintaining his offensive output with three goals and eight assists, and established himself as a regular starter from 2023 onwards, especially in national and international competitions.

During his time at Peñarol, Pedro Milans also accumulated significant achievements. The right-back was part of the squad that won the Uruguayan Championship in the 2023/24 season and the Uruguayan Cup in 2024/25.
