FC Barcelona stand a big chance of bagging a host of awards at the Ballon d’Or ceremony later this year.

After Lamine Yamal and Pau Cubarsi were nominated for the Kopa Trophy, and Hansi Flick was revealed as a contender for the Johan Cruyff Trophy for the Men’s Coach of the Year, the Blaugrana have made their way into two more nominations.

Indeed, FC Barcelona have been nominated for the 2025 Men’s Club of the Year while FC Barcelona Femeni are in the running for the 2025 Women’s Club of the Year.

The nominations hardly come as a surprise considering the successful year that both teams enjoyed.

Under Flick, Barcelona went on to win the domestic treble of La Liga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super, while reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Meanwhile, Barça Femeni also won the domestic treble of Liga F, Copa de la Reina, and the Spanish Super Cup Femenina, although they did fail to retain their Women’s Champions League crown, falling to Arsenal in the finals.

Barça Femeni’s Vicky Lopez is also in the running for the Women’s Kopa Trophy. while goalkeeper Cata Coll is among the nominees for the Women’s Yachine Trophy.

With the nominations for the men’s and women’s Ballon d’Or yet to be announced, Barcelona are expected to have even more representatives.
