When it comes to planning for the future, however, it is not just new signings that play a role, but also contract extensions. FCB has already done a good job in this respect – in all teams

Duo extend their contracts at FC Bayern

Most recently, the contract extension with David Santos Daiber, the young midfielder who made the leap to the professional squad, was officially confirmed. Now the next extensions have followed – for a duo from the second team. Both Younes Aitamer and Louis Richter have signed a new contract until June 2027

It is interesting to note that both are currently injured. „Younes and Louis have been with FC Bayern for many, many years and have unfortunately both had to cope with some bad luck with injuries recently. With this contract extension, we want to give them the opportunity to get fully fit again after their serious knee injuries and then also aim for a return to match action with us. We will do everything we can to support them on their way to their comeback and wish them every success,“ said Jochen Sauer, Head of the Youth Development Department, in the press release

Aitamer in particular has had an extremely long ordeal and has now been missing for almost two years due to his cruciate ligament injury. However, the club has assured him of its continued support. Richter is also currently recovering from a cruciate ligament rupture.
