Adli is taking on a new challenge this season as he prepares to experience the atmosphere of the Premier League. The 25-year-old has signed a five-year contract with Bournemouth. The deal is reportedly worth around €30 million, including incentives.Bournemouth is betting on the Moroccan winger’s top-level experience as well as his significant potential for development. Club chief football operations officer Tiago Pinto expressed his delight, saying: “We are absolutely thrilled to welcome a player of this caliber. Amine is a true winner and will be a tremendous addition to our squad.”

Indeed, Adli was one of the standout architects of Bayer Leverkusen’s historic 2023/24 season, as the team clinched the double (league and cup) without suffering a single defeat in Germany. His stellar performances in both the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal, where he finished as top scorer, caught Bournemouth’s attention. The "Atlas Lion" shared his excitement about this new chapter in his career, stating: “I am immensely proud to play for a club like Bournemouth. I was looking for my next step and felt Bournemouth was the perfect place for me.” Amine Adli becomes the first Moroccan player to wear the AFC Bournemouth shirt and is the club’s seventh summer signing this season, joining the likes of Adrien Truffert, Djordje Petrovic, and others.

The former Toulouse star will join Andoni Iraola’s squad this week and could make his debut for the team this weekend against Wolverhampton.
