However, Thuram has returned to fitness – and to the Nerazzurri starting eleven.

Therefore, the Frenchman partners Inter captain Lautaro Martinez in the first-choice strike pairing.

Meanwhile, in goal another notable name is that of Josep Martinez.

However, Martinez’s inclusion is hardly a surprise – he has started in each of Inter’s last two matches due to a thumb injury to Yann Sommer.

Then in the back three there’s another significant inclusion.

Yann Bisseck starts on the right of Inter’s back three – accordingly, former Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard drops to the bench.

Meanwhile, Francesco Acerbi and Alessandro Bastoni complete the back three alongside Bisseck.
