Official: Víctor Jr. signs for Valencia | OneFootball

Valencia confirmed they have activated a clause to make Víctor Fernández, known as Víctor Jr., a permanent signing from Levante for around 100,000, with Levante to retain a percentage of any future sale.

The 18-year-old has signed a contract until 2029 and will join pre-season with the first team. He was one of the standout performers for the reserves in his first campaign, scoring 12 and supplying four assists in Segunda RFEF.

He turns 19 in September and will have the chance this summer to try to impress Carlos Corberán, who has scarcely used him this season.

Levante had invested in him after his youth deal at Valladolid expired. He lasted one season in Orriols and featured in only two first-team matches, totalling 47 minutes. Although registered with the B team, he was part of the senior squad despite being a youth player.

With opportunities limited, Levante loaned him to Valencia with an affordable purchase option. That option has now been exercised.
