Marcin Bulka’s (25) contract at OGC Nice expires at the end of the season. His future at the club is uncertain, epsecially given that he has an extension offer at his disposal already. That proposal has not received a positive response from the Poland international.
“He has a concrete offer on the table. It is up to him to come back to us now but I am hopeful that we will find an agreement,” said Nice’s sporting director Florian Maurice in a press conference, attended by Get French Football News earlier this season. However, there has since been no progress and therefore reports alluding to a summer departure have multiplied.
Le Gym are currently third in Ligue 1 and currently on course for a UEFA Champions League qualification for next season. Asked whether he wished to compete with Nice in Europe next season, Bulka responded: “Yes, of course.”
Asked about whether he would extend his contract at Nice, Bulka pointed out that his current deal ran until 2026, adding that talks over a renewal are “on stand-by”. The former Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea goalkeeper’s future therefore remains open.
