OL Lyonnes sign Johanna Rytting Kaneryd from Chelsea

OL Lyonnes have completed the signing of Swedish international Johanna Rytting Kaneryd from Chelsea.

The 29-year-old joins OL Lyonnes after four seasons in England with Chelsea during which team she helped the Blues to three WSL titles, two FA Cups, and two League Cups. In that time, the creative Swede featured 138 times for Chelsea, chipping in with 17 goals.

Now, Rytting Kaneryd has penned a three-year contract with the French champions who are looking to invest to try and retake the Champions League title.

The signing of the midfielder is OL Lyonnes' third of the summer window so far following the arrivals of goalkeeper Maria Luisa Grohs from Bayern Munich and Scotland international Caroline Weir who joined from Real Madrid.
