Ole Werner has been relieved of his duties by RB Leipzig with immediate effect, as Sky Germany reports this evening.
His assistant coaches Tom Cichon and Patrick Kohlmann have also been dismissed by the Saxony-based outfit.
The pay-TV channel notes that this decision was part of a clear plan behind the scenes in Leipzig for several weeks.
A decision over the 38-year-old's future was made by the board centred around Oliver Mintzlaff, Jürgen Klopp and Mario Gomez.
In total, Werner lasted just 351 days in charge of RB Leipzig, guiding them to a third place finish in the Bundesliga last season.
Having previously been heavily rumoured as Werner's replacement, Martin Demichelis is set to become new RB Leipzig head coach.
