Ruben Amorim’s future at Manchester United has become the subject of speculation following the club’s disastrous start to the season.
Many people believe the 40-year-old’s days are numbered, with the club languishing in 14th after collecting just seven points from six Premier League matches.
Several managers have been linked with United, including Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Glasner would join United ‘in a heartbeat’ if they come calling at any point in the near future.
Glasner has done an exceptional job at Palace since replacing Roy Hodgson in February 2024.
The Eagles were struggling for form at the time of his appointment, but he guided them to a 10th-place Premier League finish after six wins from their final seven games.
Glasner led the club to their first major trophy last season, winning the FA Cup after beating Manchester City in the final.
Palace qualified for the Europa League, but suffered demotion to the Europa Conference League due to multi-club ownership rules.
The Eagles have made an excellent start to the new season under Glasner and are currently on an 18-game unbeaten run.
The Austrian would be an excellent choice for Man United. He could be tempted to join the Red Devils, who are one of the biggest clubs in the world.
