The squad of players set to be depended upon by Real Madrid to get the better of Celta Vigo has this afternoon been unveiled online.
Real, of course, are primed to return to action in a little over 24 hours’ time.
After slipping to a concerning defeat at the hands of arch rivals Barcelona in the final of the Spanish Super Cup over the weekend, Los Blancos will turn attentions back towards matters in the Copa del Rey.
A meeting with the aforementioned Celta Vigo lies in store, with a place in the competition’s quarter-finals on the line.
And, as alluded to above, a short time ago, the group of players called up for duty at the Santiago Bernabéu on Thursday was revealed.
It features one altogether notable omission, with first-choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois having been given the night off.
Long-term absentees David Alaba, Éder Militão and Dani Carvajal also miss out, though Eduardo Camavinga is included, after recovering from a recent bout of illness.
