Following the recent 3-1 win over Aston Villa, Casemiro was serenaded at full-time by chants of 'one more year, Casemiro' by the home crowd.

He opened up to the club's official website on the reception he has received from the fans and admitted it has made both himself and his family emotional.

"Well, honestly I feel so happy, especially for the affection from the fans, and the respect they have for me,"he stated.

"So, it's just gratitude for this love, it is so exciting.

"I am hoping not to cry on my last day, as it is such a beautiful experience. My wife already cried, the other day, when the fans were asking for one more year.

"So, I just want to enjoy it, enjoy all the moments and I will be a United fan for the rest of my life."
