Even as FC Barcelona get closer to celebrating their La Liga title triumph, their arch-rivals, Real Madrid, find themselves in a shambolic situation.
In recent days, several reports have emerged of unrest and in-fighting inside the locker room, involving some players as well as manager Alvaro Arbeloa himself.
Things escalated to a whole new level today as key midfielders Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni were involved in a physical bust-up at the training facilities.
Given what went down today at Valdebebas, Real Madrid are set to sanction both Valverde and Tchouameni, reports El Chiringuito TV, and as such, they are set to end up missing Sunday’s El Clasico against Barcelona.
Disciplinary proceedings have already been opened by the Spanish capital club against their key midfielders, who got into a fight for the second time in 24 hours, although on Wednesday, things had not gotten physical.

As mentioned earlier, the situation got out of control today with Valverde and Tchouameni going at it verbally on the training pitch before things got physical inside the dressing room.
During the altercation, the Uruguayan went down and hit a table, leading to him needing to visit the hospital to get stitches.
It has been claimed that he was in a semi-conscious state after getting punched and hitting his face on the table, and had to be taken to the hospital on a wheelchair.
Given the nature of his injury, Valverde has been advised not to train or play for at least one week by doctors, effectively ruling him out of Sunday’s clash, irrespective of the club’s sanction.
As for Tchouameni, he will be sanctioned as well, likely sidelining him for the trip to Barcelona.
