Leeds United can move nine points clear of the drop zone with victory over bottom side Wolves on Saturday, and Opta’s supercomputer has issued a fresh forecast for the final Premier League table featuring a strong call on the Whites.

Daniel Farke’s side won 2-1 at Manchester United on Monday night, moving six points above third-bottom Tottenham Hotspur, and that cushion could increase this weekend.

Spurs, still seeking a first league win of 2026, host Roberto De Zerbi’s former club Brighton at 5.30pm on Saturday.

Fourth-bottom West Ham, four points behind Leeds, visit Crystal Palace on Monday night. Nottingham Forest, fifth-bottom and three points back, host second-bottom Burnley on Sunday afternoon.

Wolves’ 3pm visit presents a major chance, although five fixtures would remain afterwards, including away trips to Tottenham and West Ham.

In the projection, Arsenal are tipped to finish first on 82 points, five clear. Manchester City are second on 77. Aston Villa third on 65, Manchester United fourth on 64, Liverpool fifth on 61 and Chelsea sixth on 57.
