According to Globo.com, Palmeiras' deliberative council unanimously approved the club's 2025 accounts at a meeting on Tuesday night at the social headquarters.

The year closed with a surplus of R$ 292 million, far above the budgeted R$ 12 million.

The club's financial report set out the main factors behind the improvement.

Player sales brought in more than R$ 300 million above projections, and Club World Cup prize money of R$ 254 million had not been included in the budget.

Gate receipts and broadcast income from the Paulista and the Libertadores also came in higher.

Total revenue reached a record R$ 1.783 billion, combining R$ 1.6 billion in operating income and R$ 154.5 million from financial gains such as exchange-rate movements and interest on investments.
