Palmeiras register 49 players for 2026 Copa Libertadores

Globo.com reports that Palmeiras have confirmed a 49-man registration for the 2026 Copa Libertadores, combining established starters and academy graduates.

Palmeiras are in Group F with Cerro Porteño, Sporting Cristal and Junior Barranquilla. Cerro Porteño and Sporting Cristal were also in their group in the last Libertadores.

Their opener is against Junior Barranquilla next Tuesday at 21:30 Brasília time. The match will be played in Cartagena, as the Tiburones' stadium is being renovated to host the Copa Sudamericana final.

The list includes more than 15 players from the club’s academy.

Among them, 16-year-old Eduardo Conceição stands out. He already has a professional contract and is on the radar of European giants.
