Palmeiras stepped up preparations on Tuesday with double training at the Academia de Futebol, sharpening for a decisive run, with Carlos Miguel prominent.

According to Nosso Palestra, the morning was split for technical drills on both halves, focusing on possession, marking and other aspects of play. In physical transition, Vitor Roque worked separately in small-sided games that included academy players.

In the afternoon, coaches worked attacking and defensive set pieces. Top of the Campeonato Brasileiro and in the Libertadores and Copa do Brasil last 16, Palmeiras are using the break to be ready.

Carlos Miguel drew attention in a training match against Primavera on Saturday, producing a remarkable string of saves in one passage that spread on social media.
