Paris FC to face Red Star in friendly during international break

Paris FC will play Red Star in a friendly next week at the Ligue 1 club’s Orly training centre in Val-de-Marne during the international break, according to L'Équipe.

The meeting could become a Ligue 1 derby next season, with Red Star fourth in Ligue 2 before this weekend’s round.

Antoine Kombouaré and his staff want to use the national team window to hand minutes to a deep squad.

Five players have been called up: Moses Simon with Nigeria, Diego Coppola with Italy, Luca Koleosho with Italy Under-21s, Nhoa Sangui with France Under-21s, and Rudy Matondo with France Under-19s.

After their league match against Le Havre on Sunday, the Parisians will resume training next Wednesday.
