UEFA has issued only a reprimand to Pedro Neto after he pushed a ball boy during Chelsea’s Champions League round of 16 first leg at the Parc des Princes, meaning he is eligible to play Tuesday’s return at 21:00 against PSG.

According to L'Équipe, UEFA’s disciplinary commission met on Monday and chose not to impose a ban, classing the incident as unsporting conduct.

The shove happened on Wednesday as Chelsea lost 5-2 in Paris, with the winger angered by what he felt was slow ball retrieval.

After the final whistle, Neto returned to the ball boy to give him his shirt and he also apologised in the mixed zone.

He later explained that, with Chelsea trailing and emotions high, he tried to get the ball back quickly and gave a small push, adding that this is not how he usually behaves and restating his apology.
