Perrone joins Como on loan

Maximo Perrone has joined Serie A side Como on loan for the 2024/25 season.

The Argentinian midfielder, who moved to the Etihad Stadium from Velez Sarsfield, will spend the campaign with the newly-promoted Italian side under their boss Cesc Fabregas.

Perrone made his first team debut for City in March 2022, shortly after his arrival, and was a regular member of the matchday squad in his first few months.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at La Liga side UD Las Palmas where he gained valuable experience making 30 appearances in the Spanish top-flight.

Como clinched promotion back to Serie A for the first time in 21 years on the final day of last season.

Fabregas, who played under Pep Guardiola at Barcelona, was made head coach in the summer following their return to Serie A.
