Peter Federico joins Champions League qualifiers after struggling at Valencia and Getafe | OneFootball

Peter Federico has left Getafe for Górnik Zabrze, signing until 2029. The Polish league runners-up and domestic cup winners will face Fenerbahçe in Champions League qualifying, and if beaten they will move into the Europa League.

According to Superdeporte, the Real Madrid academy product was pursued by Valencia in summer 2023 and arrived on loan in the winter window after his minutes dwindled in Madrid.

At Mestalla he delivered one assist in 15 outings, so Valencia declined to exercise a purchase option. Getafe then paid 2 million to secure a permanent deal.

He became a rotation player for Bordalás across the campaign, then was loaned last summer to newly relegated Real Valladolid. He stood out with six goals and one assist in LaLiga Hypermotion. Getafe showed no inclination to recall him for their European push.

In total he made 21 official appearances for Getafe across LaLiga and the Copa del Rey. The Dominican winger now moves on permanently for a new challenge in Poland.
