Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham was this evening reunited with an ex-teammate, ahead of Los Blancos’ meeting with Leganés.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are of course primed to return to action in short order, in a derby meeting with capital rivals Leganés.

In from the off for the clash is the aforementioned Jude Bellingham, joined in a new-look Real Madrid midfield by Dani Ceballos, Eduardo Camavinga, and Arda Güler.

And, as alluded to above, ahead of kick-off at The Estadio Municipal de Butarque, the England international came together with one of his former teammates.

Bellingham, of course, spent a season lining out alongside Sébastien Haller whilst at Borussia Dortmund.

Frontman Haller is now plying his trade with Leganés, whom he joined on loan from BVB during the summer transfer window.

Prior to proceedings getting underway in Spain’s capital this evening, the pair were therefore reunited on the pitch, stopping for a quick embrace and chat:
