Veteran rocker Rod Stewart closed out his Glastonbury set with a colourful tribute to Celtic. The 80-year-old has long since been associated with the club and is one of the most high profile supporters. Stewart is supported with a Celtic drum skin but took it a step further with a Celtic jacket and backup singers in Celtic tops.
Stewart took to the Pyramid Stage in the ‘Legends’ slot, attracting a large crowd. Stewart does a lot for Celtic’s charity wing but some of his recent political comments have deservedly drawn criticism from supporters.
There were a number of Celtic shirts and flags on display for the Kneecap boys yesterday as well as a subtle tribute towards Celtic from Lewis Capaldi on Friday. The singer-songwriter had the iconic four leaf clover on his guitar picks from his comeback after a two-year hiatus.
