Gustav Isaksen’s first-half finish earned Lazio a 1-0 victory over AC Milan at the Stadio Olimpico, dealing what was likely a deadly Scudetto blow as Inter moved eight points clear.
According to The Laziali, this was arguably Lazio’s most convincing display of the season. Edoardo Motta, rated seven, showcased strong goalkeeping after the break, denying Christian Pulisic and Christopher Nkunku and charging from his line, though his distribution needs work. Adam Marusic, six, recovered from an early error to supply the assist for Isaksen.
Mario Gila, seven, led the backline in Alessio Romagnoli’s absence with sharp interceptions. Oliver Provstgaard, seven, smothered Rafael Leao, while Nuno Tavares, seven, was relentless down the left, troubling Alexis Saelemaekers despite mixed final balls.
In midfield, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, six, grafted diligently. Patric, six and a half, operated as an improvised deep-lying playmaker, screened the defence and covered the most ground, even if his touch sometimes let him down. Kenneth Taylor, seven, edged Youssouf Fofana and ran himself to cramp.
Isaksen, seven and a half, outpaced Pervis Estupinan before finishing crisply. Daniel Maldini, six, spurned a fine chance for a second, but contributed in both phases. Captain Mattia Zaccagni, six, unnerved Fikoyo Tomori and combined neatly with Tavares.
From the bench, Pedro, five and a half, tracked back but had little impact. Boulaye Dia, five and a half, made one important defensive clearance without troubling Milan’s box. Matteo Cancellieri and Reda Belahyane were not rated.
