Roma secured their third consecutive 1-0 victory in Serie A by defeating Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico, with an Artem Dovbyk goal temporarily lifting them into fourth place.
Once again, the Giallorossi looked comfortable in stifling their opponents with a compact shape and disciplined defensive lines, capitalising on one of their few chances to make the difference.
Here are the player ratings.
Roma: Svilar 7; Celik 6.5 (77′ Rensch 6), Mancini 6.5, N’Dicka 6.5; Soulé 6.5, Cristante 6.5 (65′ Gourna-Douath 6), Manu Koné 6.5, Pellegrini 5.5 (46′ Pisilli 6), Angelino 6.5; Shomurodov 6.5 (65′ Baldanzi 6.5), Dovbyk 7 (77′ El Shaarawy 6)

Best Roma players: Artem Dovbyk & Mile Svilar 7 –The Ukrainian’s 12th Serie A goal of the season — his first after four goalless matches — came as a moment of opportunism in what was otherwise an unspectacular performance. Persistent pressure from Fiorentina’s defenders made his link-up play particularly challenging. Still, his ability to capitalise on a rare chance proved decisive in a match that could ultimately tilt the balance in the fiercely contested race for the final Champions League spot. That said, it was yet another outstanding performance from Svilar that truly made Dovbyk’s goal count and secured the win for the Giallorossi.
Lowest Roma rating: Pellegrini 5.5 – He struggles to make his presence felt, likely due to the game’s physicality and the congestion in midfield, which often limits his ability to make effective decisions in possession and initiate his team’s attacks.
Roma coach: Claudio Ranieri 6.5 – While Roma’s solidity, discipline, and ability to stay focused for the full 90 minutes should no longer come as a surprise, their unbeaten run in Serie A is exceeding all expectations and reigniting hope in a season that once seemed beyond saving.
Fiorentina: De Gea 6.5; Comuzzo 6.5, Pablo Mari 6, Pongracic 6 (71′ Beltran 6); Parisi 5.5, Ndour 5.5 (90′ Adli n/a), Mandragora 6, Richardson 6.5 (71′ Colpani 6), Gosens 5.5 (46′ Fagioli 5.5); Zaniolo 5.5 (61′ Gudmundsson 5.5), Kean 6.5

Best Fiorentina players: Kean & De Gea 6.5 – The Italy international appears to have taken on a personal duel with goalkeeper Mile Svilar, but is often left to battle alone against Roma’s tight marking. At the other end, De Gea’s saves keep Fiorentina in the game longer than they might otherwise have managed.
Lowest Fiorentina rating: Zaniolo 5.5 – Booed almost every time he touches the ball, his limited involvement in Fiorentina’s attacking play and lack of support for Moise Kean have been key factors in the team’s struggles to pose a real threat in the final third.
Fiorentina coach: Raffaele Palladino 5.5 – Inevitably caught between conserving energy for a crucial Europa League semi-final and keeping their hopes alive in the race for a European spot, Fiorentina at times seem to play with the handbrake on, struggling to create enough to break down what has become one of Serie A’s most solid defences in recent months.
