Raul Jimenez left the door open for a Molineux return after the Fulham draw, sending Wolves supporters into overdrive on Sunday evening.

“Why not? There is always a possibility. Let’s see. It would be nice, more after today, let’s see,” he said. Speaking to ExpressAndStar.com after Wolves’ final home game of the season, which also said there have been early conversations over a possible return, he added when asked about this summer: “I don’t know, maybe. But I don’t know.”

The Mexican remains Wolves’ record Premier League scorer with 40 goals across a five-year spell. He left in 2023 with 57 in all competitions and has since scored 28 times in almost 100 appearances for Fulham.

Many supporters urged a reunion, calling it the lift the club needs and arguing the Championship would suit him, with his experience and recent form cited as positives.

There was pushback too, with some insisting a 35-year-old striker is not the answer. Several argued Wolves should prioritise younger, Championship-proven forwards capable of playing 44 games and delivering 20-plus goals, rather than revisiting past heroes.
