Midfielder Piotr ZIelinski is a doubt for Inter Milan at the start of the FIFA Club World Cup due to a calf problem.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan midfielder Piotr Zielinski has been away with the Poland national team over the international break.
The 31-year-old has inherited the captain’s armband from Robert Lewandowski over the break.

Piotr Zielinski started for Poland in a friendly win over Moldova last week.
However, the Inter midfielder did not feature in his national team’s second match of the break. That was a 2-0 loss against Finland in a World Cup qualifier.
According to Tuttosport, the issue for Zielinski was a calf problem.
That was also a nagging issue for Zielinski during his first season at Inter. He joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer after his contract with Napoli had expired last summer.
According to Tuttosport, it is not clear when Zielinski will be able to return from his calf problem.
Therefore, the former Napoli midfielder is a doubt at the start of the Club World Cup.
