FLW's Portsmouth Fan Pundit has told his club that they must part ways with Callum Lang if an appropriate bid comes in.

The future of Callum Lang at Portsmouth is up for debate, and the winger is attracting attention from Championship rivals.
Preston North End, in particular, are showing a significant interest in the former Wigan Athletic star and, as per a report from Pete O'Rourke, the Lilywhites have had a fresh £1.5m bid rejected by Pompey.
The 27-year-old has played just eight times in the Championship this season, with injuries plaguing his game time after an excellent first year in the second tier with Portsmouth in 2024/25.
Despite these fitness issues, Lang has scored twice in those eight appearances and Preston are keen to add him to their ranks as they push for a play-off place. Yet, for the Blues, there is a question of whether they should keep the Liverpool-born ace at the club or not.
This is Lang's third season at Fratton Park, and just his second full campaign overall. However, his influence on the south coast has been colossal and he was a key reason Pompey avoided relegation in the last campaign.

Nevertheless, when asked if the 27-year-old should be allowed to move on this month, Football League World's Portsmouth Fan Pundit, Miltos Ioannidis, said: "Honestly, I would consider it, and that is not something that I would have expected to say back in the summer when we were having the same conversation. But realistically, Callum Lang, he's a brilliant player. But the truth is, he's only available for certain games every season.
"If Preston were to come in and make a good offer, and by a good offer I mean, anything above the region of what they offered us in the summer, anything above £2m, I think it would be silly not to at least have a conversation about it.
"Because, like I said, Callum Lang is a brilliant player and, ourselves, right now, we are in a tough spot. We've got to make sure that we do everything in our power to survive the league. But if you were to offer me this kind of money, and the opportunity to reinvest that money elsewhere in a player that is going to be fitter more often than not, then all things considered, I think I'm taking the offer."

Miltos continued: "It's a bit frustrating. We don't need to talk about what Lang's injury record has looked like over the past two years that he's been with us. With the fact that he's out of contract in the summer, I think it would have to be a consideration, as tough a decision as it would be.
"I think us getting that money and enabling us to reinvest it somewhere else in a player who is less prone to injuries, I think it would have to be a real, real consideration."
With just another five months on his contract, now is the right time for Portsmouth to part ways with the winger and bring in a fee for someone whose future looks likely to be away from Fratton Park either way.

There is no denying that Lang has been a real talent during his time in Hampshire, but his injury problems in the last few months will be extremely frustrating for John Mousinho.
The money gained by selling the player would allow for new faces to be brought in as Portsmouth battle to avoid relegation, and he can get the fresh opportunity that he perhaps needs.
