Manchester United and Marcus Rashford are heading for a messy split this summer, as according to SPORT, the relationship between the club and the player has completely broken down.

United have already told Rashford he is no longer part of their plans and must leave during this transfer window. However, the English forward wants to control his next move, and his priority is to join Barcelona.

To fast-track his exit, United have set harsh conditions on Rashford during pre-season. The club has arranged special training sessions for him, making sure he does not cross paths with Ruben Amorim.

What is Man United doing?

Rashford has been told to report to training at 5:00 p.m., well after the first-team players have finished their work for the day.

He enters the training ground through the back door, while Amorim leaves through the front. The message is clear that his time at Old Trafford is over.

Despite the difficult situation, Rashford is complying with these demands to avoid fines or sanctions. He continues with his individual training plan, using club facilities and staff for assistance, but the separation from the squad is total.

Each passing day could make his transfer fee lower, as both parties want to resolve the situation quickly.

Barcelona monitoring the situation

Rashford has rejected offers from Saudi Arabia and is not interested in joining Fenerbahce, despite Jose Mourinho personally trying to convince him.

It is said that Bayern Munich and Inter Milan have also tested the waters, but Rashford’s focus remains on wearing the Barcelona shirt.

For now, Barcelona still have Liverpool’s Luis Diaz as their main target. However, the Catalan club will not make any moves until they are sure they can register new signings under La Liga’s salary limits.

That said, they are keeping a close eye on Rashford’s situation, fully aware of the nightmare pre-season he is enduring as he waits for the chance to make his dream move to Barcelona.
