From Tijjani Reijnders to Giovanni Leoni, Premier League clubs spent nearly €300m to buy Serie A players this summer.
It was another very busy transfer window across Europe and, as usual in the last few years, several Premier League clubs did some shopping in Italy, investing nearly €300m in new purchases from Serie A.
Some of the newcomers, such as Reijnders and Leoni, are expected to be involved in the race for the title in England, as highlighted by a safe and licensed online casino in uk.

Reijnders, who joined Manchester City from Milan, was the most expensive Premier League transfer from Serie A as the Dutchman completed a €55m move, which could rise to over €70m including add-ons.
Leoni, a new Liverpool defender, was only the fourth most expensive deal from Serie A to the Premier League with his €31m transfer from Parma.
“He is a good-looking guy, as [with] most Italians! He has trained with us three times now I think,” Liverpool coach Slot said at a press conference in August, days after Leoni’s arrival.
“If you look at his transfer fee, you can expect that he is already quite grown up for his age – and that’s exactly what I saw.
“He comes in as an 18-year-old just playing with his new teammates as if he is here for longer. Impressive; if you look at how tall he is, fast, comfortable on the ball.
“Yeah, there’s a reason why we paid the transfer fee we did, because we see him as a bright prospect. Is that good English? And he had already three good sessions.
“It also tells you something about the team. If you come to this club, if you come into this team, you feel at ease from the start because it’s a very good and nice group to start your Liverpool career in.”

Dan Ndoye and Malick Thiaw left Bologna and Milan for higher transfer fees: €42m and €35m respectively.
Enzo Le Fee made it to the top five, completing a permanent €23m transfer from Roma to Sunderland after the Frenchman had spent the second part of the 2024-25 season on loan in England.
Noha Okafor, Jaka Bijol, Michael Kaoyde, Loum Tchaouna, Nicolò Savona, Jackson Tchatchoua, Diego Coppola, Douglas Luiz and Alex Jimenez also took a flight from Italy to England, being among the 15 players joining Premier League clubs from Serie A.
Among them is also Samuel Chukwueze, the last Serie A player to join the Premier League, as he completed an initial loan move from Milan to Fulham on deadline day.
