Leeds United were among 20 Premier League clubs that unanimously approved keeping the £30 away ticket cap for a further two seasons.
The Premier League said in a statement that clubs voted unanimously at a shareholders' meeting to extend the cap, taking it to 12 consecutive seasons, and that away attendances have risen from 82% to 91% since 2016, while also acknowledging additional travel costs such as public transport and petrol.
The cap has already been in place for the last 10 Premier League seasons and ensures adult away tickets are never priced above £30. Leeds mirrored that price in the 2024/25 Championship campaign, matching top-flight policy.
During 2023/24, Elland Road chiefs pursued a reciprocal pricing plan, inviting other Championship clubs to keep tickets affordable. Many agreed, while Coventry City were among those who did not.
Should Leeds remain a Premier League club beyond the summer, travelling supporters will be protected from any rises in away match ticket prices under the extended cap.
