Brighton v West Ham

Sunday 14:00Live on Sky Sports Main Event

The last four meetings between these sides on the South Coast have produced 3.8 goals per 90. Moreover, five of Brighton's six home games this term have finished with both teams converting.

Add in that the Hammers have scored as many goals on the road as they have in the capital and goals can be anticipated.

The Seagulls have Mitoma and Rutter potentially back but likely both will start on the bench.

Welbeck well worth a shot

The hosts are strongly tipped to commit to more shots than David Moyes' side this Sunday, their season's tally of 180 putting the Hammers' 138 in the shade.

And if that trend continues look no further than Danny Welbeck to contribute more than most, the 35-year-old averaging 2.3 shots per 90 this term, all while boasting a very impressive conversion rate.

His 30.4% is the best of any of the 66 top-flight players who have averaged 2.1 shots per 90 or more.

The former Manchester United forward was a surprise omission midweek - perhaps rested with his veteran status in mind - but has been in scintillating form of late.

Even in his 23 minute cameo vs Villa he racked up three efforts, one on target.

Areola to save the day

Naturally, such a high tally of shots from Brighton has made several heroes out of opposition keepers this term. On Wednesday it was Marco Bizot's turn and this despite the Villa custodian having a relatively poor game overall.

Four saves proved crucial with one acrobatic tip-over late-on denying the Seagulls a point.

Alphonse Areola has made the most saves per 90 of any top-flight keeper this season, a hefty 4.1. In his second-to-last away game - again on the South Coast but at Bournemouth a fortnight ago - he made a remarkable 10 stops.

Wilson to trouble hosts early

No team has scored more second-half goals than Brighton this term. The counterbalance to that is that only Wolves and Burnley have conceded more prior to the break.

This leads us to a bet that nearly came off last weekend and is definitely worth a revisit given the Seagulls' propensity to struggle in contests early doors.

Callum Wilson has taken on eight shots in his last five outings, with half of them on target and three of them converted. All have come in the first half.

Furthermore, Wilson tends to shine against Brighton, boasting 10 goal involvements in 14 when facing them.

Fulham v Crystal Palace

Sunday 16:30Live on Sky Sports Main Event

Regardless of the loss, following a crazy game of football, Fulham still managed to score four goals for the first time in 52 league matches midweek.

Still, we shouldn't expect further prolificacy this Sunday, not against a Palace side that has kept clean sheets in exactly half their league outings this term, conceding a mere 11 goals along the way. That's a concession every 114.5 minutes.

In this exact fixture last season the Eagles won out 2-0 and a similar outcome would not wholly surprise.

Aim for Harry at 8/11

Though it's the visitors who are fancied to prevail at the Cottage, Harry Wilson is still the man to back for attempts on goal.

Last time out, versus Man City, the Welsh midfielder didn't pull the trigger once, in a nine-goal thriller to boot. This was a rarity, however, the first time he has failed to register an effort in 14 league starts. His previous seven home outings has seen him shoot every 24 minutes.

Tricky Pino

With Ismaila Sarr injured there is even greater emphasis on Yeremy Pino to provide attacking impetus for the visitors this Sunday. This bodes well to back the Spanish international to draw a couple of fouls.

This he has done consistently this term, his quick feet and direct running making him a fearsome proposition for full-backs.

Pino has been fouled 1.78 times per 90 this season in the league, the highest return of any player expected to feature from the off at the Cottage. That average could rise after this weekend from coming up againt Kenny Tete, a persistent offender in recent months.

Guehi's increase in ill-discipline

Marc Guehi has been excellent for the most part this term, a key component of his team's rock-solid rearguard and statistically Palace's best performing player in 2025/26.

Yet it can also be said that Liverpool's summer transfer target has undergone quite the transformation of late regarding his discipline.

From the start of this season to early October the 25-year-old committed just one foul across 869 minutes of competitive football. One. That's a remarkable feat and a testament to his superb timing.

Since then however he has committed a foul every 75 minutes. That's hardly a cause for concern, especially for a centre-back, but crucially the increase in transgressions has not gone unnoticed by officials. Having not been booked from August to the first week of November, Guehi has subsequently been cautioned in three of his last five starts.
