Preparations for Leipzig under way | OneFootball

Ritsu Doan returns to full training, Jean-Mattéo Bahoya works individually and Rasmus Kristensen completes a running session.

After the important away win at Wolfsburg, Eintracht began preparing for the home meeting against Leipzig on Tuesday. “It will certainly be a big challenge, Leipzig are playing great football this season,” said Jonathan Burkardt, before adding: “They’re coming here to Frankfurt, where we want to dominate.”Doan backThe session started with 22 outfield players, the goalkeepers and a lot of ball work. Also involved was Ritsu Doan, who missed the game against Wolfsburg due to illness. Rasmus Kristensen, meanwhile, ran laps of the training pitch as he builds up his fitness, and Jean-Mattéo Bahoya also trained individually. Nnamdi Collins and Kaua Santos continue their rehab. 

As the session went on, the coaching staff increased the players’ workload. The Eagles will be working every day at Deutsche Bank Park up until the final training session on Friday, before Saturday evening’s primetime clash against Leipzig at 18:30 CEST.
