It’s been a rollercoaster 2024-25 season for the Spanish side with highs and lows in the first campaign with Mbappé. Nonetheless, can this last past this season, and once the summer window opens, could one player be looking at greener pastures?

Mbappé and Vinicius Jr. should be the two players that Real Madrid built their attack around, and so this could leave Rodrygo as the odd man out.

RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins reports that Paris Saint-Germain are keeping an eye on Rodrygo’s situation at Real Madrid ahead of a potential summer move. If the player is unhappy with his role and minutes, this is where the Parisians can enter the discussion.

Nonetheless, this will all fall on Rodrygo. Whether he’s content being that fourth wheel with Mbappé, Vinicius Jr., and Jude Bellingham having most of the limelight, or perhaps he might feel he should be a cornerstone piece for a club somewhere else.

As for the potential transfer fee, Transfermarkt puts the Brazilian’s possible cost at €100 million.
