PSG will face Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-finals, their 11th meeting with a Premier League club since October 2024. Results against English opposition have largely gone their way.
This will be the second tie between the clubs in as many seasons after last year's last-16. PSG edged that contest 4-1 on penalties after a 0-1 and 1-0. The head-to-head with Liverpool is level going into this quarter-final.
Last season the French side also knocked out Aston Villa and Arsenal on their route to the title. They lost 3-0 to Chelsea in the Club World Cup final, then beat Tottenham 4-3 on penalties to lift the UEFA Super Cup.
Since October 2024 their league-phase meetings with English teams have brought a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal and a 4-2 win over Manchester City in early 2025. Later came a 5-3 victory against Tottenham in November 2025 and a 1-1 draw with Newcastle in January 2026.
This season PSG reached the last eight by beating Chelsea 5-2 and 3-0. Liverpool progressed past Galatasaray 0-1 and 4-0.
