PSG are expected to bank €12m in matchday revenue alone from hosting Arsenal in the Champions League semi-final return leg, according to Le Parisien. PSG’s Parc des Princes will be packed to the brim to support Luis Enrique’s Les Parisiens on their way to the Champions League final in Munich, on Saturday, May 31st. The Ligue 1 champions have a one-goal lead over Mikel Arteta’s Gunners courtesy of Ousmane Dembélé’s 4th-minute dagger at the Emirates Stadium.
According to the outlet, Parc des Princes will be at full capacity for the 164th PSG game in a row, which further highlights Les Parisiens‘ desire to build a bigger ground in the Greater Paris area. The only possible way to get tickets for Wednesday’s showpiece between PSG and Arsenal is to go on Ticketplace, PSG’s official marketplace for ticket reselling. Le Parisien adds that the cheapest tickets could be bought for… €500.
Despite a somewhat limited capacity – 48,000 seats – Parc des Princes is one of the most profitable stadiums in Europe. With a full house in the stands and also in the expensive corporate lounges, PSG expect to bank €12m in matchday revenue alone on Wednesday night.
