Ligue 1 football returns on Friday night as Paris Saint-Germain take on RC Strasbourg Alsace. Le Parisien understands that the former will welcome back several key players for the encounter.

Prior to the international break, PSG were mired in an injury crisis. There will still be absentees when club football returns later this week. Recently crowned Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé is still out and is expected to remain out for a couple of weeks yet, whilst club captain Marquinhos is also not ready to return to the fold.

However, plenty of PSG players are ready to return, including Désiré Doué and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. There will also be a return for Bradley Barcola, who was forced to miss France’s two FIFA World Cup qualifying matches with a minor muscular injury.

Senny Mayulu, who was also forced to withdraw from the France U21 squad, Joao Neves, and Fabián Ruiz have all benefited from the international break and could make their returns on Friday.
