PSG take interest in Strasbourg’s Guéla Doué | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly interested in RC Strasbourg Alsace player Guéla Doué (23), according to information from L’Équipe.

The brother of Désiré, a two-time European champion with the Paris-based club, is reportedly seen as the ideal replacement for Achraf Hakimi (27). However, no significant progress has yet been made on this matter. Under contract with the Alsatian club until 2029, Doué is valued at €20m by the specialist website Transfermarkt.

A product of the Stade Rennais FC academy, the Ivory Coast international (24 caps, three goals) joined Strasbourg two years ago. He quickly became a key player for the club, making 63 starts in 68 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing nine assists.

This consistency has even earned him the captain’s armband on several occasions in recent months; at 23, he is now regarded as one of the leading players in his position in the French league.
