Former France forward Christophe Dugarry has predicted that Paris Saint-Germain will 'massacre' Liverpool in their Champions League quarter-final tie.
Liverpool travel to the Parc des Princes for their clash against the European champions, under pressure following a difficult season.
The Reds were thrashed 4-0 by Manchester City in theFA Cup last weekend to continue a challenging campaign.
The result was Liverpool's 15th defeat of the season in all competitions, their most in a single campaign for a decade. Liverpool have also now lost five games by a margin of three or more goals in 2025-26.
Dugarry has predicted another heavy Liverpool defeat on Wednesday night, against a PSG side who eased past Chelsea in the last 16. Speaking toRMC Sport, Dugarry said Arne Slot's side 'don't play together'. He believes the contest will be a 'walk in the park' for Paris Saint-Germain.
“It’s going to be a walk in the park, honestly. Liverpool are disastrous. 14 wins, 10 losses, and 7 draws since the start of the season in the league. They’re catastrophic.
“I’m not going to say they have bad players, but they don’t play together. In my opinion, the difference in level is colossal. I think PSG will wrap up the quarter-final in the first leg.
“Have you seen Liverpool play? They’re catastrophic! They have no legs; they have nothing. Technically they have good players; they’re not clumsy, but they play at a snail’s pace.
“When you see the intensity PSG manages to bring, with their legs back, with their mental strength and everything else they’ve regained… There’s no comparison between the two teams. It’s going to be a massacre!”
