Holders Paris Saint-Germain will have three key players back for Budapest showdown
Paris Saint-Germain have all of Ousmane Dembele, Achraf Hakimi and Nuno Mendes available for this evening’s Champions League final against Arsenal.
Right-back Hakimi was the first of four different scorers as PSG put five past Inter Milan in last year’s showpiece, but had been a doubt for Saturday’s game with a hamstring injury.
He has not played since the 5-4 semi-final first-leg win against Bayern Munich on April 28, but, in a boost for Luis Enrique, was named in the Champions League final squad and starts tonight.
Further up the pitch, PSG boss Enrique has settled on something of a winning formula from which he is not likely to deviate.
There were also concerns surrounding forward Dembele’s condition after a calf injury that forced him off early in the final Ligue 1 game of the season against Paris FC, but he has since shaken off the issue and confirmed he is “100 per cent” ready to play.
Double boost: PSG stars Achraf Hakimi and Ousmane Dembele have both been passed fit for the Champions League final
Desire Doue starts on the right wing, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the highest goalscorer left in the competition by a three-goal margin, on the opposite flank and Dembele through the middle.
Kvaratskhelia has ripped apart most defences he has come up against this season, notably those of Bayern Munich and Chelsea, and Arsenal will have their work cut out for them to keep him quiet.
Hakimi is joined in defence by captain Marquinhos and Willian Pacho, with Nuno Mendes completing a stalwart defensive unit after also being passed fit following a thigh complaint that has seen him absent since the second-leg draw with Bayern.
Lucas Chevalier and Quentin Ndjantou have both made PSG’s 24-man final squad after injuries, though the former is back-up to first-choice goalkeeper Matvey Safonov.
PSG XI: Safonov; Nuno Mendes, Pacho, Marquinhos, Hakimi; João Neves, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz; Doué, Dembélé, Kvaratskhelia
Subs: Chevalier, Marin, Lucas Beraldo, Zabarnyi, Gonçalo Ramos, Kang-in Lee, L. Hernández, Mayulu, Dro Fernandez, Barcola, Zaire-Emery, Mbaye

Subs: Arrizabalaga, Jesus, Eze, Martinelli, Timber, Gyokeres, Nørgaard, Madueke, Merino, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Dowman
